Great little mini lantern- Yes, very mini small and compact lantern. Solidly put together and very easy to pull the top off to use it as bare bulb from bottom tent hook. After you know to twist the bottom to change batteries (beacause it's waterproof) it is very pretty easy to do. The compact min size makes it great to keep around the junk drawlor in the car for emergencies. It's is definately going to light up a your small room, and will definately suffice for the tent.. I purchased this mini led lantern becarse it was small and runns on only AA batteries.. The high /low LED light settings are well suited for using the dome light . The unit is also very handy for my kids to paly with. It is pretty rugged and I don't think they can break it. You can also hang up-side-down, which provided quite a bit of light in side a tent. The strobe feature is pretty cool too.....Overall, I lovit and will buy a couple for gifts this christmas..

I think Rayovac is starting to rule th LED Lantern catagy. I bought the bigger one and it is absolutely the best batteryopwerted lanter ever made. It's the 300 lumens one. But this one is the same thing justmade into and incredibly samll package. Just get one....you won't be sorry.....
