I recently bought this inverter to replace my vector 175 watt DC to AC inverter that died after 10 years of regular intermittent use. When I found out that Black& Decker had acquired the vector new brand line, I was a little worried but the Black and Decker seems to work as well if not better than the Vector. I use this 12 volt to 120 volt DC to AC inverter on a marine deep cycle battery to power a small MP3/DVD player in my popup six wheel camper. Also to recharge my phone and mp3 player while on the road. The fact that the cooling fan cycles on demand saves allot of 12 volt battery power. thanks allot Black and Decker
