I recently bought this inverter to replace my vector 175 watt inverter that died after 10 years of regular intermittent use. When I found out that Black& Decker had aquired the vector brand line, I was a little worried but the B&D seems to work as well if not better than the Vector. I use this 12 volt to 120 volt inverter on a marine deep cycle battery to power a small MP3/DVD player in my popup six wheel camper and to recharge my iphone mp3 player while on the road. The fact that the cooling fan cycles on demand saves alot of 12 volt battery power.
