It feature a durable plastic housing, a high impact plastic diffuser, and a comfortable carrying handle. Power source are four "D" cell batteries with the light source being one long lasting super bright 6 watt fluorescent U-tube. The battery powered lantern is water resistant and can float for a period of time if accidentally dropped in the water.
