DC DC Voltage Converter Operating Instructions

1. Select the plug that best fits into you product’s DC jack.
2. Determine the center polarity of your product’s jack, either “+” or “-“, by referring to your product’s owner’s manual or rating label. Each adapter plug indicates a “+” and “-“ sign on opposite sides of the plug. The side that matches the center polarity will be the “tip”. Connect the plug into the adapter cord by aligning the plug “tip” with “tip” as indicated on the adapter cord jack.
3. Adjust the voltage setting switch on the DC adapter to the required voltage using the flat pin included, or a similar flat-tip object such as a small screw driver. (Caution: Do not exceed the required voltage specified for your products.)
4. Insert the adapter into the cigarette lighter socket. The power led indicator will light when power is on.
5. If your product fails to operate, check the fuse for your car’s cigarette lighter or the fuse in the adapter. The check or replace the adapter fuse, carefully unscrew the head of the adapter. If the fuse is broken, replace with another 2A 250V fuse (not included). Review the instructions from step 1 again checking all settings.
